It’ll soon be easier than ever to log in to My Pension
We’re changing the way you log in so you can use your email address instead of your user ID. We’re aiming to make this new functionality available from March 2026, and we’ll add an update to this page when it’s live.
The new login process adds an extra layer of security, while making it easier for you to access My Pension on any device.
What you’ll need to do:
- Log in as usual with your current user ID and password.
- You’ll then be invited to register for the new login process by providing and verifying your email address and phone number.
- Next, set up a password of your choice. That’s it!
Forgotten your user ID or password?
On the login page, choose ‘register here’, and you’ll be guided through the steps to get set up.
In order to match you to your pension record and complete our necessary verification checks, you’ll be asked for some extra information, including a valid passport or UK driving licence and your National Insurance number, so please have these to hand.
You’ll also need to provide a photo. You can take a selfie or, if it’s easier, upload a recent photo.
Resetting your password in future
Once you’ve registered, if you forget your password, you won’t need to call the Scheme administrator – you’ll be able to reset it yourself online.
Set your preferences
You’ll also be able to set your communication preferences as part of the new process, so you can easily let us know how you’d like to get updates – via email, text or post.
