If you have paid AVCs
Some members may have paid Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) to ‘top up’ their Scheme pension.
Existing AVCs are currently invested and managed by the following providers – Legal & General, Aviva and Prudential – but we’re in the process of moving Aviva and Prudential AVCs to Legal & General. You will receive a welcome letter from Legal & General in due course, but in the meantime you should still contact the Sainsbury’s Pension Team at WTW if you have any questions about your AVCs.
Legal & General has a secure website, Manage Your Account, where you can view your AVCs and make changes to your investments. You will also receive a statement every year giving details of their value and how they are invested.
